  “I did the tanning where they took out a monthly payment each month. After I cancelled, they continued to take money out without consent. When I went to collect my money the manager wasn't in, I left my # and nobody ever called. I went in twice and called. Nothing ever happened. It was about $50 total. ”

  “Not surprised that Body Bronze is closed..I had paid for several tans in advance and of course they kept the money...I'm sure they would never reimburse anyone, inexperienced and unprofessional.”

  Bad Customer Service

  “I first contacted Body Bronze when I was calling tanning salons in the area for pricing. Body Bronze was the only location I contacted that had nude airbrushing. The sales girl recommended the airbrushing over the Mystic because she stated it lasted 3-4 weeks. After waiting a week, I called back to make an appointment and, again, was told that the airbrushing would last 3-4 weeks. When I went in for my appointment, the girl working was obviously inexperienced and, unfortunately, was left to run the store by herself. She had to call the manager to go through a walk-through of how to use the airbrushing tool. After the airbrushing, I asked the sales girl how long I should wait before showering, whether I should wash my hands, etc. She stated, I'm probably not the best person to ask. I'm new. So, after waiting more than 12 hours, I showered only to find that 90% of the color washed off in the shower. Definitely not worth the $40. When I called the store to speak to the manager (or who claimed to be the manager), she asked if I could hold for a minute. She set the phone down on the counter as I waited over 5 minutes. I could hear her conversation in the background as she flirted with a chiropractor. Classy. After a few minutes, she hung up the phone. I called her back saying I had been hung up on and she said that she placed me on hold. CLEARLY, when there is no more noise, the timer stops on my cell phone, and I see my wallpaper, I've been hung up on. When, I explain to her that I never developed color from my airbrushing (not even bringing up the idiot who was working), she said that the airbrushing only lasts 7 days. This was my 3rd day and again, I didn't show any color after the initial shower. I heard a lot of excuses, but really, she couldn't care less. And neither can I because I'll never go back. They get 1 star because I can't submit this comment without giving them at least that.”

  Versaspa Sunless Tan was awful

  “Don't waste your time or money with the versaspa sunless tan. The results were uneven with very little color change on most of my body. I have had much better spray tans at other places in the past. ”

  Tanners Place

  Worst Business Ever

  “Tanners Place was the worst tanning experience I've ever had. They gave me the wrong lotion which caused a severe allergic reaction. I could not even start my tan because I had to return home to shower off their lotion. \n \nThe owner Kim would not give me a refund for the wrong lotion OR for the tan I payed for but could not use. TERRIBLE customer service and truly poor business practice. \n \nI'm very disappointed that I wasted my time and money here.”
