Glo Tanning

Based on my factual personal experience and conversations with “Glo” I maintained my membership responsibly and paid every bill through autopay — including the fee to freeze my account during a short vacation. When I returned to unfreeze it, I was informed that my membership had been mistakenly terminated by management. I was told it would be corrected within 24–48 hours, but no one followed up with a phone call as promised. I later received an email saying I would need to open a new membership and pay another enrollment fee — even though the issue came entirely from their own mistake. I declined and requested a call from management several times, but none were returned. Over the past 2 months, I’ve also noticed what feels like a very disorganized and tense environment. The front desk staff are mostly polite, but they clearly seem to get almost no training or support. Several employees have personally shared with me that they feel underpaid, inadequately trained, and frustrated by what they describe as nonexistent unresponsive management with a toxic work environment. Those private conversations matched what I observed during my visits. Also you can check out GlassDoor. I also originally chose this location because they advertised infrared and red-light therapy, but those services were not actually available as described, which felt misleading. Based on my experience — the billing errors, the lack of communication, the unreturned calls, and an overall environment that appears poorly run — I cannot recommend this place as I had to 3 other friends. I will make sure they know what I went through and hopefully don’t continue with their memberships going forward. At this point, it’s obvious this place looks and feels like a joke of a company. Their membership model feels like a scam built on misinformation and internal chaos. Don’t be fooled by Glo’s Toxic culture. Just go elsewhere. There are other facilities with much better organization, transparency, and professionalism.
